This incredible numismatic research tool, The Newman Numismatic Portal, is located at Washington University in St. Louis Missouri. It is funded by the Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. Newman made personal visits to libraries and historical societies scattered throughout the country. From the voluminous correspondence with archivists and fellow collectors, and accumulating research files on hundreds of topics, it was his idea to share this with the numismatic world. The Newman Numismatic Portal will extend the Newman legacy of scholarly research by making freely available the largest online archive of numismatic information in the world.
